Since graduating from Boise State in 2009 with a BFA – sculpture emphasis, and losing all but my art supplies in a house fire the same year, I have resolved to lead a semi-nomadic and minimalisst lifestyle, owning the bare minimum of anything other than art supplies, yet I still remain dedicated to being a professional artist, creating works for various group shows and solo exhibitions. Simultaneously, over the last three years I have finished the required prerequisites, was accepted into Idaho State University’s accelerated nursing program, and am projected to graduate this May of 2019. I will fulfill a life goal in medicine, as well as being able to supplement my schedule, providing me more freedom to work diligently in my studio, as meticulously planned. I am ready to push my professional boundaries beyond anything I’ve attempted thus far, and intend to infiltrate the public art arena within the Treasure Valley over the next few years.
