Melinda Bristol makes introspective self-portraits and intimate portraits of others. Photos are transferred, using laser prints onto wood paneling and images of past works, in parts and pieces are added. They are then transformed with paint, charcoal, and graphite. She obtained her BFA in Fine Art, Painting, from Arizona State after living in Iceland and Europe. Melinda currently lives in East Boise with her partner and Corgi, Harley.
