Born in NY, Lydia began her dance training in Boise, ID under the direction of the late Eric Coffman (SF Ballet, ABT). She went on to study at New World School of the Arts (Miami, FL) training in R.A.D, Balanchine, Graham, Horton, and Limón techniques performing works by Micheal Utoff and Freddick Bratcher. Lydia continued her modern studies at ASU focusing on the works of José Limón, under the direction of Nina Watt, dancing soloist roles in Missa Brevis, Mazurkas, and Dances for Isadora. Furthering her studies, Lydia joined SFCD under the direction of Summer Lee Rhatigan where she danced in the reconstructions of Robert Moses’ The Supplicant, NDT’s Fallen Angels, along with contemporary works by Alex Ketley, Christian Burns, and Batsheva’s Bobbi Jene Smith. Since back in Boise, Lydia has had the opportunity to dance and choreograph for Ballet Idaho, Boise Dance Co-op, IDT, TEDx Boise, TEDx Twin Falls, and Treefort Musicfest. She is the founder of Project Flux Dance.
