Linda Ledbetter is a self-taught photographer based in Boise. She grew up in the canyon lands of south-central Idaho, where she fell deeply in love with interesting rocks and the furry and feathered creatures that live among them. In her mid-40s, having exhausted all other options for creative expression, she picked up a camera and started pointing it toward things with wings, finding her artistic home in the process. Nearly a decade later, birds and other urban wildlife are still her favorite models to photograph.
