Kay Seurat is best described as a maker. She’s been making art and craft in many mediums from childhood, and for more than 25 years has been making a living in the process.

Her jewelry is all hand fabricated and one-of-a-kind. She sold her work at shows and galleries for many years, but recently enjoys staying in one place, making and showing in her Boise studio.
The studio doubles as a classroom, where Kay has been teaching others the joys of working with metals for the last 15 years.

In addition to her jewelry making and teaching, she is conversant in many mediums including everything from textiles to found object sculpture and is now working on large metal sculpture.
Kay finds that the ability to stay versatile and move between mediums is one of the things that keeps her creativity in good working condition.
