A classically trained violinist, Jessica has been lucky to begin her career here, in Boise Idaho. From her beginnings studying piano and violin at ages 6 and 8 respectively, to receiving her degree in Violin performance at Boise State University in 2012, working to earn a position in the Boise Philharmonic in 2015, being supported in creating a wonderful piano/violin studio, to her current winning of the Graduate String Quartet fellowship at Boise State in 2018, to receive her Masters in Violin Performance; Jessica shows that perseverance and passion are everything. Jessica is not solely a classical violinist and is lucky to be a member of Mariachi Sol de Acapulco, winners of the 2018 Governor’s Award for Musical Excellence. She has worked with local composers, created meaningful music videos, and recorded/ performed with various local music groups. Being multifaceted has helped her become the musician she is today, and she is looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
