Jaime is a Boise artist. As an actor, puppeteer, puppet maker, choreographer, and teaching artist, she feels fortunate to work in this rapidly growing theatre community that she loves. Holding a BA in Theatre Arts from Boise State University, Jaime is the managing director and associate artist with HomeGrown Theatre and has performed with many other Boise theatre companies including Boise Contemporary Theater, Alley Repertory Theater, and for six consecutive years has toured the beautiful state of Idaho with Idaho Shakespeare Festival’s educational outreach programs Shakespearience and Idaho Theater for Youth. She enjoys the highly theatrical; working with puppets, masks, and movement, believing that abstracting reality can draw us closer to the truth. But she also loves a good bit and a pratfall or two for some meaningless entertainment believing that life’s too damn short not to have fun.
