I was born into a family of storytellers and took to the art at an early age. By age 17 I had won the Grand Torchbearer Award of youth storytelling and performed professionally in China, Idaho, Utah, and Tennessee.
My historical storytelling was honed through three grants from the City of Boise and the Idaho Humanities Council: Early Boise Stories, a collection of tales about Boise’s beginnings, History from the Ashes, the devastating story of the Big Burn of 1910, and Boise: Gem of the Mountains, stories of Boise’s immigrants and minorities.
After graduating in theatre from Northwestern and an acting stint with the Idaho Shakespeare Festival I’ve focused on writing for the theatre. Playwriting credits include; The Further Adventures of Sean and Sophie Morass, The Remnant of Content, and Back When Mike Was Kate, selected for a 2019 production by the Playhouse on the Square Theater of Memphis, Tennessee. Nowadays, you might find me selling good literature at Rediscovered Books.
