Amy’s installation pieces inspire curiosity, include a sense of humor and are a natural segue way from her career as a performing artist. She utilizes her skills as a builder, discriminating eye for found objects and passionate interest in historic research to create interactive experiences in unexpected and unusual venues.

Her work is informed by years spent as a young artist living in NYC. While there, she auditioned and danced on Broadway & appeared in a filmed performance on the PBS series, “Dance in America.” She was a member of Twyla Tharp’s Company and choreographed for and toured with Mikhail Baryshnikov and his White Oak Dance Project.

As a multifaceted artist, curator and builder, Amy developed The Art Space, a unique installation based gallery, curated the Modern Art Event at The Modern Hotel, and co-founded The Atlanta School. She has been revitalizing historic buildings in Atlanta, Idaho since 1998. Amy is a 2007 recipient of an Idaho Commission on the Arts Fellowship.
